Volunteer Roles

Volunteers play a vital role in the daily operations of the Historical Society. The Society could not provide the services to our members and community without these dedicated people.

Volunteers fill all types of niches, such as:

  • Gift Shop Staff
  • Thayer House Tour Guides
  • Program & Event Organizers & Support Staff
  • Development, Marketing & Public Relations Staff

  • Volunteer Recruiters
  • Construction, Maintenance & Repair Staff
  • Writers (Monthly & Quarterly Newsletter)
  • Administrative Support Staff
